Vintage Wrought Farberware Floral Serving Tray

A vintage Wrought Farberware serving tray from Brooklyn, New York, dating to approximately the late 1940s–1950s. Hand-wrought from hammered aluminum, the tray is finished with engraved floral motifs around the perimeter, a softly scalloped edge and distinctive double-loop handles.

The aged aluminum has developed the soft, matte patina that makes vintage metalware so good alongside ceramics, glass and darker woods. Use it traditionally for serving, or style it on a coffee table or console with a small vase, candle and a few favorite objects.
