Ellen Schlanbusch for Just Andersen Vase

Sale price$480.00

Designed by Ellen Schlanbusch, c. 1946

A beautifully refined pewter vase from the Just Andersen workshop, created under the artistic direction of Ellen Schlanbusch in the mid-1940s. After Andersen’s passing in 1943, Schlanbusch carried his legacy forward with her own gentle signature—introducing designs that felt more streamlined, poetic, and modern while still honoring the sculptural Scandinavian sensibility the studio was known for.

This Model 2495 vase is one of her most recognizable forms:
a balanced silhouette with soft verticality, quiet curves, and a subtle metallic sheen that catches the light with understated elegance. The pewter has developed a naturally rich patina over time, adding depth and character to the piece.

A perfect blend of utility and sculpture, this vase stands beautifully on its own or styled with a minimal stem or branch.
